Managing to at once be Beats and Instrumental Jazz in form ‘Resolve’ marks the slow sonic ascent from those battles and adventures - when the obstacles to peace of mind have been defeated - for now. Truly a representation of Fusion - Resolve combines a straight beat with smatterings of modal guitar atop swirling synths. A stunning mute trumpet solo leads into a fully realised horn section motif symbolising our hero’s honour as he gallops triumphantly away from crumbling empires in his wake. A metaphor for bad habits resolved.
